Aden, July 29, 2020, SPA -- President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen has issued a package of presidential resolutions as part of the mechanisms for implementing the Riyadh Agreement which was signed by the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council on November 5, 2019. The official Yemeni News Agency stated that President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi issued Resolution No. (35) for the year of 2020, Article (1) to mandate Dr. Moeen Abdulmalik Saeed to form the new government, while article (2) of the resolution stated that the current government shall continue to perform tasks until the formation of the new government. The Yemeni President also issued Resolution No. (5) for the year of 2020, article (1) to appoint Ahmed Hamid Lamless as Governor of Aden, in addition to a decision to appoint the former governor of Aden Ahmed Salem Rabie Ali, as a member of the Shura Council. The President issued a presidential resolution No. (6) for the year of 2020, according to the article (1) of the resolution, appointing Brigadier General Ahmed Mohammad Al-Hamdi as Director General of Aden Police and promoting him to the rank of Major General. --SPA 15:01 LOCAL TIME 12:01 GMT 0012 www.spa.gov.sa/w1380447
