Riyadh, May 29, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health began today carrying out workings of the 3rd phase of the expanded checkup to assess the rate of Coronavirus (COVID-19) spread, in Makkah and Madinah, in a first step to be followed by implementing it, in Riyadh, next week, while the other areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall follow suit, later on. The ministry has recently announced intending to launch the 3rd phase, in continuation of precautionary and preventive measures to stop the spread of the virus, in order to maintain the safety and the hygiene of the citizens and the residents, alike. However, the ministry added that the 3rd phase will not cover indoor checkup or houses' visits, as it will be done through various outlets including: Checkup inside cars via dedicated centers set up in many cities and checkups done in first medical care centers, while booking to set sample taking appointments by citizens and residents, themselves, via online application: Sahaty, or literally my health. --SPA 19:10 LOCAL TIME 16:10 GMT 0017 www.spa.gov.sa/w1339470
