Riyadh, February 04, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Global Forum on Cyber Security has kicked off in Riyadh this morning, and comes as a continuation of the efforts being exerted by the government to localize global experiences in all components of cybersecurity, as the forum is one of the largest that concerned with cybersecurity. The paper added that the forum is hosting more than 1200 prominent figures, speakers, researchers and academics around the world, aiming at discussing cyber challenges and dangers and economic and development opportunities in the cybersecurity sector. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the professional media registration platform that has been launched by the ministry of media is seen as an unprecedented step that provides a series of services and privileges for Saudi media men and residents.
