His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the French President responded to questions from journalists. In a question on France's position on the Iranian nuclear agreement, the French president said, "We must emphasize the completion of the agreement with the missile activity. We must be prepared if the missile activity continues in the region. We must impose sanctions on this. We must adopt a joint strategy to counter Iran's expansionist activity. The matter will concern Iraq first, or Syria, and we know that what is happening in Lebanon in the area of instability is what we should do and this is what I intend to do. On the chemical attack on the Syrian city of Douma, the French President said his country would announce "in the coming days" its response to the chemical attack, and if it decides to launch military strikes, it will target the "chemical capabilities" of the regime. "In the coming days, we will announce our decisions" in coordination with the United States and Britain, he said. He added, "The information France has proved that "chemical weapons have been used and that the responsibility can be clearly placed on the regime." In response to a question about the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining possible strikes in Syria, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince said, "If participation with our allies in an action against the regime in Syria is required, we will not be late in that." Asked about whether the Kingdom wants to benefit from France's experience in renewable energy, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince said, "It is currently under discussion with a group of French companies to cooperate in electricity networks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preparation for receiving 200 megawatts over the next 12 years and we believe there are many opportunities with a number of French companies. " On cultural relations between the Kingdom and France, the French president said that his country has experience in major museums as well as expertise in the field of curators and archaeologists and in the framework of the visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince a desire was stressed to confirm this heritage and France is ready and within the framework of the agreement signed today, we would like to continue this work which we did with many countries in the region by providing services and allowing archaeologists and researchers to build partnerships with Saudi Arabia to continue the development process as well as to accompany this work in the field of heritage and culture in the economic field and transformation taking place. This is part of our vision of the bilateral relations between the two countries. Relations are built on a shared vision of our history and the ability to understand our mutual history and roots of our civilizations. This is also the fruit of the work and as a result of an ongoing scientific, economic and cultural work. --More 03:11 LOCAL TIME 00:11 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w664815
