Seattle, Rajab 14, 1439, Mar 31, 2018, SPA -- His Royal Higness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, has patronized here the signing ceremony for the establishment of a joint project aimed at localizing more than 55% of the Saudi Arabian fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter's maintenance, repairs and rehabilitation, in addition to weaponization technology and spare parts supply chains in order to achieve the goals set out in the Kingdom' vision 2030, which states that 50 percent of Saudi Arabia’s military spending will be localized. The agreement was signed by Ahmed Al-Khateeb, chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) and Boeing CEO and chairman of board of directors Dennis Muilenburg. HRH the Crown Prince was briefed on the activities of Boeing Aircraft Industries. During his tour of the company, he was accompanied by Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United States; and members of the official delegation accompanying HRH the Crown Prince.
