Customs at King Abdulaziz International Airport Foil Attempts to Smuggle more than 24,000 Captagon Pills, Two Kilos of Heroin

Jeddah, Jumada I 10, 1438, Feb 7, 2017, SPA -- Customs officers at King Abdulaziz International Airport have foiled six attempts to smuggle a total of 2,223 kg of heroin found hidden by three persons while entering the Kingdom via the airport. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Abdulaziz Bandar Al-Ruhaili, Director General of Customs at King Abdulaziz International Airport, disclosed that the officers of the customs also foiled a smuggling attempt of 24,674 captagon pills by a coming passenger in addition to 317 grams of cocaine found hidden in the intestines of another passenger. --SPA 18:48 LOCAL TIME 15:48 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w327643
