Cairo, Rabi'I 21, 1438, Dec 20, 2016, SPA -- The fourth joint meeting between Arab foreign ministers and their European counterparts took place at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo today under the co-chairmanship of Tunisia's foreign minister Khamis Jenhawe, who is the Arab ministerial council's rotatory president, and Federica Mogherini, the High Representative for the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy with the participation of Arab League's Secretary General Ahmed Abdulghait. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Egypt, who is also its permanent representative to the Arab League and dean of the Arab diplomatic corps accredited to Egypt, led the Kingdom's delegation to the meeting. The meeting is scheduled to discuss a wide-range of issues of mutual concern, including combating of terrorism, migration, humanitarian assistance, demilitarization, particularly mass destruction weapons, across-the-border organized crimes, and response to crises and early warning.
