Geneva, Ramadan 14, 1436, Jul 1, 2015, SPA -- A record 137,000 migrants fled across the Mediterranean to Europe in the first half of the year, but the flow is expected to rise even more sharply until the end of the year, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) said Wednesday in Geneva. The number seen between January and June was the highest since systematic record keeping started some 15 years ago. It was double the amount seen in the same period last year, dpa reported.
