Anchorage, Sha'ban 11, 1436, May 29, 2015, SPA -- A strong earthquake has struck in a remote region off the coast of Alaska and officials say there is no tsunami threat or immediate report of damage. The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-6.7 quake was centered in the ocean about 35 miles (55 kilometers) beneath the seabed and some 400 miles (640 kilometers) southwest of Anchorage, a remote and lightly populated Aleutian Island region, AP reported.
