Camp David, Rajab 26, 1436, May 15, 2015, SPA -- Leaders and heads of Delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, and President Barack Obama of the United States of America underscored their mutual commitment to a U.S.-GCC strategic partnership between the two sides to build closer relations in all fields, including defense and security cooperation, and develop collective approaches to regional issues in order to advance their shared interest in stability and prosperity. This came in a joint statement issued after the meeting of GCC's leaders and heads of delegations with the US President at Camp David yesterday evening and the following is the text of the joint statement: - Leaders, heads of Delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States and the GCC Secretary General met at Camp David yesterday evening with U.S. President Barack Obama and his Government's members to reaffirm and deepen the strong partnership and cooperation between the United States and the GCC.
