At the global medical and health level, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies has confirmed, via its website, that the Kingdom, represented by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA), is one of the first supporters of the Federation, reminding of SRCA's donation of one million US dollars in 2012 for the digital gap program launched by the Federation to support the technological potential of 21 national medical societies. Moreover, the Federation considered the Saudi Red Crescent Authority as its key partner to him, where the Authority has contributed to improving the lives of millions of people in all parts of the world, thanks to programs created outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in response to emergencies and crises around the world, and the Kingdom was one of the first countries which answered many humanitarian urgent appeals in various countries overwhelmed by crises and wars such as Syria, Iraq and the Gaza Strip. On the crisis of the sisterly Republic of Yemen faces right now, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is strongly present with its humanitarian position, a matter being classified by the world as a model of humanitarian action, to be the latest of the Saudi humanitarian initiatives and as an extension of decades in this regard.
