Abuja, Jumada II 7, 1436, Mar 27, 2015, SPA -- The Nigerian army said it captured Friday the north-eastern town of Gwoza, which it said housed the headquarters of Boko Haram. "Several of the terrorists have died and many of them have been captured" in an offensive to dislodge Boko Haram members from Gwoza and nearby towns and villages, army spokesman Chris Olukolade said, dpa reported. A massive search was on "to locate any of the fleeing terrorists or hostages in their custody," Olukolade said. Unconfirmed media reports had said Boko Haram had moved to Gwoza with about 200 schoolgirls it had kidnapped from the town of Chibok, after the army kept pounding its previous headquarters in Sambisa Forest. -- SPA 19:01 LOCAL TIME 16:01 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
