Athens, 22 Rabi'II 1436 H, February 11, 2015, SPA -- Thousands of people, many carrying Greek flags and banners denouncing economic austerity, took part in rallies across Greece on Wednesday as a show of support for their new government which was holding crucial negotiations with eurozone partners in Brussels. Demonstrators, young and old, braved freezing temperatures to participate in a peaceful rally in Syntagma Square in front of parliament, which was spontaneously organized on social media.
