Berlin, Rabi'I 12, 1436, Jan 3, 2015, SPA -- A member of a South Korean medical team treating Ebola patients in Sierra Leone has been flown to Germany after suffering an injury with a hypodermic needle. Berlin's renowned Charite hospital said in a statement that the unidentified medic was taken to its special isolation unit Saturday. The hospital didn't stay whether an Ebola infection had been confirmed in the patient, but said a news conference would take place later in the day. The World Health Organization says more than 8,000 people have died from the Ebola outbreak that began in West Africa about a year ago, AP reported. --SPA 15:46 LOCAL TIME 12:46 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
