New York, October 15, 2019, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of harnessing the possible factors for achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, namely: ensuring inclusiveness, empowering women and youth, and investing in human capacities to ensure the sustainability of development outcomes beyond 2030. This came in the kingdom's speech at the meeting held to discuss the outcome of the World Summit on Sustainable Development within the 74th UN General Assembly. The speech was delivered today by member of the kingdom's permanent delegation to the United Nations, First Secretary Bandar bin Mahdi Al Nahdi. He explained that the kingdom strives to work continuously to ensure the effectiveness of government work with other sectors such as the private and non-profit sectors in order to achieve economic growth, social balance and environmental protection in a sustainable manner. Bandar Al Nahdi said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a key partner in finding solutions to tackle development issues at the national, regional and international levels.
