Mina, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Aug. 13, 2019, SPA -- Pilgrims started to flock towards the Grand Mosque in Makkah to perform Tawaf, a main pillar of Hajj, after having finished their Hajj in Arafat at sunset last Saturday, stayed that night until dawn in Muzdalifah valley and returned to Mina valley to stay from two to three days and nights. Following Tawaf, a seven-round circumambulation around Kaaba, the house of God, in addition to a seven-walking-and-galloping round ritual between the mounts of Safa and Marwa in the vicinity of Kaaba, pilgrims have to return to Mina to complete a pebble-throwing stones at devil replicas they have started once they came down from Muzdalifah. The remaining pebble-throwing tradition will be finished within optional two to three days and nights. By tomorrow, Mina valley, which was accommodating nearly 2.5 million white-robe female and male pilgrims, and witnessing an unprecedented vivid traffic and special religious life style, will turn to a human-empty city, waiting for pilgrims of next year. --SPA 20:52 LOCAL TIME 17:52 GMT 0027 www.spa.gov.sa/w1155733
