Riyadh, 20 January 2019 SPA -- Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussain, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), received here today Afghan ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Jalal Kareem. During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation in the field of news and signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two agencies of the two countries for exchanging news. During his tour at the SPA departments, the Afghan ambassador was briefed on the functions of the editing desk, ITC, photographing and TV production, and new media, all using state-of-the-art devices and equipment. He was also briefed on the news content which is provided by six languages through the electronic gate and "SPA" accounts on the platforms of the social network. For his part, the Afghan ambassador was impressed of what he has seen: skilled and professional cadres using the world-class technologies to provide news and reports on all aspects of life.
