Makkah, Shawwal 21, 1439, Jul 5, 2018, SPA -- Husham bin Mohammed Kaaki, chairman of the chamber of commerce and industry of Makkah Region, said that the holy capital of Makkah is gearing forward to an unprecedented economic and service boom, citing the recent formation of the Royal Commission for Makkah and the Sacred Places. This came as Kaaki received the British ambassador to the Kingdom Simon Collis and the accompanying delegation at a meeting in Makkah's chamber. To mark the visit, Kaaki also cited the 18 economic agreements signed between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in addition to 300 Saudi British joint ventures and some $17 billion worth of investments already existing between the two countries in addition to investment agreements worth $100 billion signed during the recent state visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, to the United Kingdom.
