SPA and King Saud University organize a course in First Aid for Journalists''

Riyadh, 22 Rabi'I,1438 AH, 21 December,2016 , SPA -- Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Health Center for Skills and Simulation at Faculty of Medicine and Medical City of King Saud University will organize on Sunday 26 Rabi' I, 1438 AH, corresponding to December 25, 2016 AD, a course for one day in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for journalistic reporters working in the coverage of journalistic field permanently at SPA headquarters in Al-Sahafeh neighborhood in Riyadh. The course aims to provide journalists with theoretical and applied skills on first aid and emergency medical and environmental situations in which they may be exposed to during their works in the field, in addition to acquaint them with dangerous injuries in public sites in ways consistent with applicable international courses for qualifying them to save the injured until they are transferred to the hospital to complete their treatment. Participant in the course will be given an accredited certificate in first aidfrom American Heart Association.
