Moroni, June 12, 2019, SPA – The Republic of The Comoros strongly condemned the criminal act with a projectile that targeted Abha International Airport that caused injury of 26 people of different nationalities, describing it as a criminal and dangerous act against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued today by the Comoros Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Comoros affirmed its solidarity with the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of any attempt to target its security and stability, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. The Comoros stressed that such targeting of international airports is a flagrant violation of international laws and norms.
