Ramallah, April 27, 2019, SPA -- Within the framework of the joint cooperation with Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA), the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) issued the cultural newsletter under the title "An active Palestinian Cultural Movement in the First Third of the Current Year". In the first half of the year 2019, Palestine witnessed an active cultural movement with changes in the level of cultural status. The most prominent of these changes was launching the activities of Jerusalem as the capital of Islamic culture 2019. The beginning of the current year 2019 witnessed publishing a number of books and novels. Palestine also won the first place in the Folk and Traditional Arts’ Arab Youth Festival which was held in Cairo as part of the activities of the Arab Youth Capital. The Palestinian Museum and the British Library launched a project to conserve and treat Palestinian cultural heritage.
