A Symposium on Saudi Diplomacy and Regional, Arab and World Stability held at 33rd Janadriyah

Riyadh, Dec 26, 2018, SPA -- Aa symposium entitled "Saudi Diplomacy and Regional, Arab and World Stability" was held here last night on the sidelines of the ongoing activities of National Festival of Heritage and Culture in its 33rd session (Janadriyah), Participants in the symposium moderated by Ambassador Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Jedaie on behalf of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani included Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political and Economic Affairs Ambassador Dr. Adel bin Siraj Mirdad; Advisor-Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid And Relief Centre (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah; Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen; Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahiya Al-Mua'llemi and Yemeni Foreign Minister Khalid bin Hussein Al-Yamani. The symposium discussed several papers on Saudi Foreign Policy Strategy and the Kingdom's political role to consolidate security and political support, which are seen as key pillars on which the Kingdom's foreign policy is based. It also highlighted building strong relations with all countries, adopting a policy of non-intervention, working as part of the United Nations system, supporting all its resolutions and building international and regional relations in addition to making partnerships with international organizations. The symposium noted the KSA's approach derived from the Islamic Sharia and its keenness to consolidate the ties of Arab unity.
