Riyadh, Dhu-AlQa'dah 18, 1439, Jul 31, 2018, SPA -- The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has lifted the temporary ban on importating live animals from the bovine species, for the purpose of slaughtering and breeding, from Brazil. Director General of the Department of Animal Risk Assessment, at the ministry, Dr. Sanad al-Harbi has added that the lifting of ban was based on the report of a Saudi technical team, which visited Brazil and recommended lifting the ban, after the conditions set by the Kingdom and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) have been, fully met. -- SPA 17:44 LOCAL TIME 14:44 GMT 0022 www.spa.gov.sa/w724495
