KSA launches 'Makkah Road' Initiative in Indonesia to Facilitate Travel Procedures and Performance of Hajj

Jakarta, Dhu-AlQa'dah 04, 1439, July 17, 2018, SPA -- The first flight of Indonesian pilgrims from the "Makkah Road" Initiative departed today, to finish entry procedures for pilgrims into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from their countries, after the launch of the initiative at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, in the presence of the Head of the Kingdom's Delegation of Makkah Road Initiative and Director General of Passports Major General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Osama bin Mohammed Al-Shoabi, and members of the supervisory committee from the relevant authorities on the management and operation of the Initiative. Participants in the launching of the initiative were briefed on the organization of the service at the Airport and the progress of its implementation.
