Arab Permanent Committee on Human Rights Calls on ICC to Investigate Israeli Crimes

Cairo, Sha'ban 29, 1439, May 15, 2018, SPA -- The Arab Permanent Committee on Human Rights called on the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to urgently launch an investigation into the crimes of the Israeli occupation against Palestinians, whereas more than 55 civilians killed and 2,500 wounded yesterday. In a statement issued today, Chairman of the Arab Permanent Committee on Human Rights at the Arab League Dr. Amjad Shamout said that Israel is an invading and murderous entity and its politicians and soldiers must be brought to the International Criminal Court. Shamout called on the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to urgently launch an investigation into the crimes of the Israeli occupation. He also called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations to take legal actions to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation and stop the American actions in violation of international law against the rights of the Palestinian people as well as the international peace and security.
