Geneva, Ramadan 24, 1438, June 19, 2017, SPA --The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stressed that its position towards the Palestinian cause is one of the key principles of its policy, where it supported the Palestinian cause in all its stages and at all political, economic and social levels, believing that its efforts being exerted towards the Palestinian cause are duties dictated by its faith and its human conscience, which condemns injustice, aggression, and violation of rights. Saudi's Ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Abdelaziz Al-Wasel, reviewed in his speech before the 35th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, the flagrant violations of the rights of Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian and Arab territories which has been suffering for 60 years as well as other serious violations against them. Ambassador Al-Wasel called on the Human Rights Council to stand up against these violations, including taking serious and practical steps aimed at halting all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories, which constitute a flagrant example of human rights violations and other violations such as the occupation of territories and expelling and besieging indigenous peoples. --SPA 19:04 LOCAL TIME 16:04 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w431211
