Jeddah, Sha'ban 15, 1439, May 01, 2018, SPA -- The OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir held here today a meeting to review the situation in the aftermath of recent killing of more than 20 innocent civilians in Kashmir. The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Abdullah Allam, OIC Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs who is also OIC Special Envoy to Jammu and Kashmir, in the presence of Pakistani Minister of Foreign Affairs Tehmina Janjua as well as representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Niger. At the outset of the meeting, strongly condemned the recent killing of innocent civilians in the enclave, reiterating OIC’s position in supporting Jammu and Kashmir people to get their legitimate rights.
