Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for naming the 29th Arab Summit as the "Summit of Al-Quds", donating $150 million for a program supporting the Islamic endowments in Al-Quds and donating $50 million for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. He clarified that the State of Palestine proposed a peace plan at the United Nations Security Council based on the Arab Peace Initiative.
