On the Syrian crisis, Al-Jubeir said "We support the Syrian people and the preservation of Syria's unity and institutions in accordance with the Geneva Declaration I and Security Council Resolution No. 2254. Al-Jubeir pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns in the strongest terms the use of chemical weapons in eastern Ghouta and calls on the international community to punish the perpetrators of this heinous crime. On the reconstruction of Iraq, Al-Jubeir said that during the conference which was recently held in Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia allocated $1.5 billion to reconstruct Iraq and support Saudi exports to Iraq. On the situation in Libya, Al-Jubeir expressed hope that the Libyan efforts will contribute to overcoming the crisis via supporting the National Reconciliation Government and exerting efforts to work in accordance with the Skhirat Agreement to resolve the Libyan crisis in order to preserve Libya's security and territorial integrity.
