The crane was lifting rail pads for a double-track railway project at 5 am (1000 GMT) when it suddenly collapsed. Two workers died at the scene, while the two others died in the hospital. East Jakarta police chief Yoyon Tony Surya Putra said police were questioning witnesses who were on the scene at the time.
