Brussels, 04 Muharram,1438 AH, 05 October,2016 -- An international support conference for Afghanistan is aimed Wednesday at raising billions of dollars in funding for the conflict-ridden country, with officials from more than 70 states and 20 organizations due to attend the Brussels talks, dpa reported. The aim of the conference, hosted by the European Union, is to keep funding for Afghanistan for the next four years on a par with the 4 billion dollars annually pledged in 2012. Attendees will include UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, US Secretary of State John Kerry, European Council President Donald Tusk and the EU's top diplomat, Federica Mogherini, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
