Arab Parliament Condemns Houthi Militia's Kidnapping 7 Female Principals in Sana'a

Cairo, March 17, 2020, SPA – Speaker of Arab Parliament Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Sulami condemned the recent kidnapping of seven headmistresses by Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias. The seven ladies said to be taken away to an unknown destination. In a statement, Dr. Al-Sulami affirmed his categorical rejection of the terrorist acts carried out by the Houthi militias against Yemeni civilians and civil institutions, stressing that these acts represent flagrant violations of international laws, conventions and norms as well as the United Nations resolutions and international treaties. The Speaker of the Arab Parliament called on the United Nations as well as the human rights and women's rights organizations to take immediate and urgent action to release the kidnapped school principals, and to compel the Houthi militia stop storming civilian installations.
