Cairo, February 10, 2022, SPA -- The Arab Parliament has condemned the targeting of Abha International Airport with a bomb-laden drone, which jeopardizes the lives of hundreds of passengers, describing the act as terrorist and destructive that increases tensions in the region. The parliament, in a statement today, also stressed that these attacks do not only target the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but also seek to destabilize the entire region, calling for an urgent and immediate action by the international community to hold the Houthi militia accountable for the crimes they perpetrate and their continuous violations for the international law and the international humanitarian law. The Arab Parliament also stressed that targeting the airport is a full war crime and an extension of terrorist attacks that Houthi militia implements with weapons that target residential areas, airports, ports, and energy infrastructure, in implementation of agendas aiming to destabilize the security and stability of the region, renewing its affirmation to stand with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership, government, people and parliament. --SPA 15:05 LOCAL TIME 12:05 GMT 0011 www.spa.gov.sa/w1689912
