Al-Balsam International Organization carries out 42 heart surgeries since arrival in Mukalla city and thanks the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

Al-Mukalla, Sha'ban 02, 1439, April 18, 2018, SPA -- The medical team of Al-Balsam International Organization has expressed its deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense for what it has received of urgent response from the forces of Arab Coalition for Supporting the Legitimacy in Yemen under the leadership of the Kingdom, logistical support and facilitating its humanitarian mission in coordination with the Yemeni legitimate government to treat urgent cases of Yemeni patients, at the request of the Yemeni Ministry of Health and Nabd Al-Hayat Center in the city of Mukalla, Yemen. The medical team of Al-Balsam International Organization arrived in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout province last Sunday, where they were received by Hadramout Governor Major General Faraj Salmin Al-Bahssani and a number of officials of forces of Arab Coalition for Supporting the legitimacy in Yemen. The medical team began since its arrival in the city of Mukalla until Tuesday evening examining the cases of patients coming from all Yemeni provinces and carried out five open heart operations for Yemeni patients. The team also conducted 42 operations, including 37 interventional catheterization operations and the installation of support devices for Yemeni men and women who came from the cities of Trim, Seon, Du'en, Mukalla, Qusayer, Ghail, Bawazeer, Al-Mahra and Shabwa. The medical team of Al-Balsam International Organization aims to treat 300 cases of Yemenis, including about 10 open heart operations and approximately 100 interventional catheterization operations for different ages, in addition to the examination and treatment of external outpatients in the Department of Cardiac Radiology at Nabd Al-Hayat Center of the Charitable Foundation of Cardiology in the city of Mukalla and training local doctors on such operations. --SPA 11:03 LOCAL TIME 08:03 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w671106
