Cairo, Rajab 19, 1439, Apr 5, 2018, SPA -- The 27th conference of the Arab Parliament Federation confirmed today the importance of unifying the Arab position towards major issues, led by the Palestinian cause and combating of terror in all its forms and putting an end to all forms of tension, struggle and violence in the Arab world as well as creating a common Arab economy. In a final communique, the conference pointed out that the Palestinian people are still subject to occupation of land, humans and sanctuaries. The conference reiterated its support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people according to international law until the establishment of their independent state on the land of Palestine with Al-Quds as capital. The statement strongly condemned the Israeli offense on the Palestinian people, land, sanctuaries and properties, calling on the world community, particularly the veto-holding countries of the Security Council to mount enough pressure on Israel to coerce it stop its material and moral crimes on Palestine. The communique confirmed the right of Palestinians at large to return to their home land from which they were deported. The parliament stressed the need for exerting more effort to stop the Judaization policy of the Islamic sanctuaries in the city of Al-Quds and halt changing its genuine characteristics. The communique strongly denounced the US President Donald Trump's decision to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Al-Quds and recognize it as Israel's capital. The conferees reiterated the Rabat conference that the US is no longer an authenticated broker of peace in the Middle East as it proved to be biased towards Israel, paying tribute to the Arab parliament delegation to Geneva international parliament conference who has successfully convinced the world parliamentarians to denounce the US decision regarding its embassy in Israel and recognition of Jerusalem as capital of the Jewish state. --SPA 00:58 LOCAL TIME 21:58 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w660578
