Regarding the report issued by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which included that the Coalition Forces directly targeted (Hajif Sub-Station) of power in the Directorate of (Al-Ma'ala), (Aden) Governorate on (12/04/2015), resulting in the near-total destruction of its warehouses located in the same complex, and that the Coalition Forces carried out air strikes the next day. JIAT verified the incident and, after reviewing all the documents, including the procedures; rules of engagement, the schedules of daily air missions, and the satellite images. After assessing gathered evidence, JIAT found that at (12:00 am) on Saturday (12/04/2015), the air coalition forces carried out an air mission on military targets (caves) that are used as weapons storage by Houthi armed militia in the south of the city of (Aden), located (5100) meter away from (Hajif Sub-Station) in the Directorate of (Al-Ma'ala). After reviewing air missions on Sunday (13/04/2015), JIAT concluded that there was no aerial activity of the Coalition Forces in the Directorate of (Al-Ma'ala). Furthermore, during that period (Aden) was a battleground, between the Houthi armed militia and the Popular Resistance for the Liberation of Aden, where ground forces used heavy and medium weapons. In light of this, JIAT concludes that the Coalition Forces did not target (Hajif Sub-station) in (Aden), and that the procedures of Coalition Forces in dealing with military objectives were correct, and in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules. Regarding the report issued by Amnesty International issued on (18 August 2015), which included that the coalition forces bombed a house in the village of (Dar Saber) on the outskirts of the city of (Taiz) at (5:00) am on (26 May 2015), killing (8) people and injuring others, Including two children. The house is located (150) meters away from the (Zayed Park) in (Jabal Saber). It also destroyed part of another three-storey building. JIAT verified the incident and, after reviewing all the documents, including the procedures; rules of engagement, the schedules of daily air missions, and the satellite images. After assessing gathered evidence, JIAT found that based on intelligence information that large gathering of Huthi militia were present, In Zayed Tourist Park on (Jabal Sabr) in (Taiz) governorate, which is considered a legitimate military target whose destruction is a military advantage, and thus the legal protection of civilian objects has been lost due to the use of (Zayed Park) by the armed militia of Houthi to support the war effort. On (26 April 2015), Coalition Air Force targeted (Zayed Park) using six guided bombs, four of which hit the target. Two bombs were deviated as a result of a technical fault in the aircraft's systems. The two bombs landed in an area approximately (200) meters away from the target. Resulted in destroying a house and partly damaged another three-storey house. In the light of this, JIAT found that the targeting of (Zayed Park) is consistent with international humanitarian law and its customary rule, and that the incident was unintentional, due to a technical fault. JIAT therefore concludes the Coalition States to consider providing assistance to the families of the victims. --More 21:49 LOCAL TIME 18:49 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w633638
