Mexico City, Jumada II 1, 1439, Feb 17, 2018, SPA -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.5 struck southern Mexico on Friday, the US Geological survey reported. The epicentre was two kilometres south-east of Pinotepa de Don Luis in Oaxaca state, the USGS said. The quake hit at 5:39 pm (2339 GMT) at a depth of 43 kilometres.
