Riyadh, 12 Shaban 1438H corresponding to 08 May 2017 SPA--Riyadh hosts annually in May the events of "European Day and Europe Month in the Kingdom". The European Union Ambassador to the Kingdom Michele Cervone D'urso explained that the European Day and Europe Month in the Kingdom scheduled for tomorrow will be distinguished this year as it coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the European Union. This came during a press conference held yesterday at the headquarters of the European Union delegation in Riyadh. He pointed out that the activities aim at introducing to the peoples of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states diverse European cultures including arts, science and nature, noting that these cultures vary from state to state and each one has its own unique character.
