Kuala Lumpur, Jumada I 12, 1438, Feb 9, 2017, SPA -- Nine Indonesians died and four others were still missing on Thursday after a speedboat capsized in Malaysian waters, dpa cited search and rescue officials as saying. The recovered bodies were transferred to Indonesian authorities, said Awil bin Kamsari, public relations officer for the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency. "The [search and rescue] operation is still ongoing [for the four missing]," Kamsari said. The boat was travelling from Sabah in East Malaysia to Sungai Nyamuk in Indonesia carrying 15 Indonesian nationals. It capsized late Tuesday but was only reported missing late Wednesday after one couple managed to swim ashore to Batu Payung beach, said Tawau police chief ACP Fadil Marsus, according to local media. --SPA 10:31 LOCAL TIME 07:31 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w328830
