Abha, Rabi'II 12, 1438, January 10, 2017, SPA -- Asir region police has arrested 14 people after they have repeatedly committed fraud crimes against citizens, most of them elderly people, while they were at ATMs belonging to a number of local banks, which resulted in embezzling more than three million riyals. The Spokesman of Asir region's police Major Zaid Mohammed Al-Dabbash said in a press statement today that during the past years the police has received reports from citizens on their exposing to fraud and robberies by persons offering fake services at ATMs. He pointed out that 14 people including a woman were arrested and they confessed of committing 25 fraud cases in Asir region and some other regions of the Kingdom. --SPA 16:13 LOCAL TIME 13:13 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w309813
