Manama, Safar 24, 1438, November 24, 2016, SPA --The Speaker of Saudi Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh has lauded the outcomes and decisions of the periodical meeting of Al-Shura Councils, Houses of Representatives and National and Nation Councils of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States concluded yesterday in the Kingdom of Bahrain which have reflected the level of cooperation and coordination between the councils in the GCC member states to address regional and international challenges facing the region. The Speaker of Al-Shura Council said in a press statement that the meeting has approved the vision of the Shura councils and the national and nation councils to deal with the threat of terrorism and terrorist organizations as it issued a statement condemning the criminal act targeted Makkah region and another statement on the decision issued by the US Congress approving ''Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act'' (JASTA)), indicating that the meeting discussed a number of important issues regarding the region, pointing out that the agreement and understanding prevailed at this meeting. The speaker of Al- Shura Council added that GCC Al-Shura councils, Houses of Representatives and National and Nation councils expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by the Shura Council for its efforts exerted in 9th meeting when the Kingdom took over its presidency. --SPS 13:15 LOCAL TIME 10:15 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w276023
