Madinah, Safar 23, 1438, November 23, 2016, SPA --Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah region patronized here yesterday evening, the opening of ''Conference on Controls of Using Social Networks in Islam" being organized by Naif bin Abdulaziz International Award for Prophetic Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies with the participation of the Islamic University in Madinah , in the Presence of Prince Nawaf bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, a member of the supreme commission of the award, a number of senior officials, scholars, and guests of the conference included researchers and academics from inside and outside of the Kingdom. Addressing the Conference, Advisor to the Crown Prince and Secretary General of the Award, Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi reviewed in his speech the risks being caused by social networks in intellectual, cognitive and behavioral aspects of emerging generations, noting that this conference is not enough, but it must be followed by conferences, studies and workshops to reach the starting points that achieve immunization for the coming generations and ensure the correct use of an invention able by its characteristics to build or destroy a society.
