King orders the rehabilitation of several historical mosques in Al-Madinah

Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Muharram 10, 1438, Oct 11, 2016, SPA -- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Heritage (SCTH), announced today that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has adopted the rehabilitation of a number of mosques in different regions of the Kingdom. This came in a speech delivered by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz at a workshop on "Care of Historical Mosques" which started in this holy city yesterday under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Region, and the organization of SCTH in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and the Legacy Charity Foundation. Prince Sultan bin Salman also announced the establishment of a fund for rehabilitating historical mosques in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah for the public to donate in the project.
