Athens, Dhu-AlHijjah 09, 1437, September 11, 2016, SPA -- A forest fire on the Greek island of Thasos in the northern Aegean Sea has destroyed several homes, dpa reported. The fire service deployed hundreds of firefighters, seven planes and a helicopter to tackle the blaze on Sunday, which broke out after a lightning storm. One firefighter was injured.
