Riyadh, February 02, 2020, SPA -- Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and the General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Muhammad bin Saeed Al Jaber, here today met with the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Yemen, Nahed Hussein. During the meeting, a presentation was made on the projects of the program in a number of Yemeni governorates and future plans for the expansion of the program through new projects covering seven different sectors. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the international experiences of the United Nations represented by the development program and its role in developing strategic plans for the development and implementation of a number of projects inside Yemen. Nahed Hussein stressed the necessity of activating the strategic partnership on the ground among all development organizations that seek to achieve stability in Yemen by switching from relief projects to development and reconstruction projects, adding that the current crisis in Yemen is a development crisis, not a humanitarian one.
