Riyadh, Muharram 28, 1439, October 18, 2017, SPA -- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH), a founding member of Association of Space Explorers (ASE), participated in 30th annual conference of the Association concluded in Toulouse, France yesterday. The conference discussed a number of topics related to space technology, its sciences, and developments in research and studies related to space exploration, techniques and space science. In a press statement on the event, Prince Sultan bin Salman stressed that the Kingdom today is seen as one of the advanced countries in the region in the field of space science and applications, lauding the support being provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for projects and programs related to science and research including space research, pointing out that the Kingdom is moving towards expansion in this area including the establishment of an independent entity for this important economic and scientific track to keep abreast of the plans being prepared by the Kingdom in the field of the space industry. --SPA 11:30 LOCAL TIME 08:30 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w514925
