SCC sets alternative date to consider case against accused Ahmed bin Abdullah Alabdulaziz

Jeddah, Sha'ban 05, 1437, May 12, 2016, SPA -- The Specialized Criminal Court announced that due to the absence of the accused Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Mokhtar Alabdulaziz from attending the trial session scheduled to consider the case against him dated on 28/10/1436 H, and the inability of the competent court to communicate with the accused in his documented place of stay, an alternative date was set to look into the case and on Tuesday 20/09/1437 H at 11 am. The court hopes of the defendant to attend court on time, and in case of not attending, the court will rule in the case in absentia, according to the provisions of paragraph (3) of Article (57) of Shari'ah Procedure Law, and Article 9 of the crimes of terrorism and its financing law. --SPA 23:35 LOCAL TIME 20:35 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
