Then, the Secretary General of King Faisal International Prize Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sabeel presented the winners of the prize of all branches. Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the audience watched a visual presentation of each of the winners and their efforts and achievements. Thereafter, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud handed prizes to the winners, as follows: First: King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islam and was awarded to Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, the Adviser at the Royal Court, member of the Commission of Senior Scholars, Imam and Preacher of the Grand Mosque and President of the Jeddah-based International Islamic Fiqh Academy. Second: King Faisal International Prize for Islamic Studies was awarded to Prof. Abdullah Bin Yousif Al-Ghunaim, president of the Kuwaiti Studies and Research Center.
