At the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Prince Abdul-Ilah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Naif bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, who is also Chairman of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture's steering committee; Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Musaed; Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youths Welfare; Prince Abdullah bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saad bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz; and Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Deputy Minister of National Guard and Deputy Chairman of the festival's steering committee. Then, princes had the honor to shake hands with the monarch. Having a seat at the podium, the monarch watched the start of the Ardhah ceremony before himself, together with other princes, taking part in the Saudi men dance. A dinner party was then held by the festival's steering committee in honor of the monarch and guests.
