After that, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud honored the Saudi personalities of this year with King Abdulaziz Medal (First Class). They are Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al-Dafaa; Abdul Fattah Abu Madiyan and Samar Bint Jaber Al-Hamoud. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques honored the General Director of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture Saud bin Abdullah Al-Roumi for his work since the first festival in 1405 H until the current session and the supervisor of the Festival's media affairs Jaber bin Ali Al-Qarni for his work since the second session in 1406 H until the current session. The King received a memorial gift from the Festival's sponsors by the Chairman of Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) Dr. Ghassan Al-Shibal and its General Manager Saleh Al-Jasser. At the end of the ceremony, Saudi National Al-Ardah Sword Dance was performed.
